San Antonio Hot Springs is in San Antonio Canyon in the Jemez Mountains of northern New Mexico, on the Santa Fe National Forest's Jemez Ranger District. The Forest Service describes hot water emerging from several sources on a steep hillside and flowing into a series of primitive, rock-lined pools of different temperatures. The U.S. Geological Survey lists the feature as San Antonio Hot Spring in Sandoval County. There are no restrooms and no potable water at the site.

To reach the trailhead, visitors drive Forest Service Road 376 north from NM 126 for about 5 miles to a small parking area, then follow a 0.7-mile out-and-back trail to the springs. The road is not open to vehicles all year. Seasonal road closures on the forest generally fall between December and May, and the Forest Service listed FR 376, including the road to the springs, among the roads closing on January 2, 2026. In 2025 the agency also kept the road closed to motor vehicles from March 3 to July 1 to reduce disturbance to wildlife during breeding season. Hikers and bicyclists may still use the road during these closures, which adds the full road distance each way. The Forest Service lists no fee for the site.

San Antonio Campground, with 20 single sites at about 7,600 feet along the San Antonio River, and a separate group site lie nearby; both are reserved through Recreation.gov and close for the winter. The village of La Cueva sits at the junction of NM 126 and NM 4, and Jemez Springs is farther south. Spence Hot Spring and McCauley Warm Spring, two other Jemez Ranger District springs, are a short drive south along NM 4.
